Subrina is a remarkable individual who has always been guided by her unwavering sense of loyalty, integrity, and transparency. She grew up in the beautiful Highland Hills area of Dallas, Texas, where she has been a cherished member of the community for her entire life.

Subrina was inspired by her parents' civic mindedness at a young age. Subrina’s inspiration from her parents propelled her to become heavily engaged in civic activities. Her commitment to making a positive difference in her community has been evident throughout her life, and she has been involved in various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people of her community Highland Hills and throughout District 8.

Subrina's dedication to her community was not limited to her childhood. As an adult, she continued to serve Highland Hills and District through various roles, including volunteering at local shelters, organizing neighborhood clean-up drives, and advocating for better public services. Her efforts did not go unnoticed; she became a respected leader, known for her ability to bring people together and inspire collective action. Her journey is a testament to the power of committed civic engagement and the profound impact one individual can have on their community. Subrina's story is one of hope, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the betterment of society, making her a true beacon of light for Highland Hills and District 8.

Subrina has lived in District 8 for 60 years. She attended Wilmer Hutchins High School and Paul Quinn College, both of which are in the Highland Hills area, and her academic achievements were a testament to her hard work and dedication. Moreover, Subrina has been a business owner for the past 21 years in the Highland Hills community as well. Therefore, as someone who deeply cares about her community, Subrina is determined to diversify District 8’s economy. She believes that communities such as Highland Hills, Pleasant 

Grove, and Kleberg have the potential to thrive economically, and is committed to exploring new and innovative ways to make this a reality for the constituents in District 8.

Subrina’s focus on economic diversification is driven by her desire to see District 8 flourish and reach new heights of success through Public Safety, Racial Equity, Housing for all employment and training for our high school students in the logistics area of District 8, Homelessness, and Criminal, Civil, and Juvenile Justice reform. She is also passionate about improving the overall quality of life for every resident, advocating for better healthcare services, enhanced public transportation, and the preservation of green spaces.

Subrina firmly believes that a collaborative approach is essential for the prosperity of District 8. She plans to work closely with local businesses, community leaders, and residents to create a comprehensive strategy that addresses the unique needs and challenges of each neighborhood. In 

addition to her focus on economic growth, Subrina is dedicated to fostering a sense of unity and equality within District 8. By promoting cultural events, supporting local artists, and encouraging civic engagement, she aims to build a vibrant and cohesive community where everyone feels valued and heard.
